Low-resolution files: Never print images under 100kb. At that size, the file lacks enough digital data blocks. When stretched onto large fleece, it breaks apart into blurry squares. (To check size, open the image on your phone and tap the “Info” or three-dots icon).
The “Age Collage” trap: Avoid using one picture for every single year for milestone birthdays, especially for guys!
Hated photos: Do not use that one picture the recipient explicitly tells you they hate.
Overthinking layouts: Don’t obsess over exact placement. Minor spacing variables become irrelevant at a large scale.
Me-Centric gifts: When gifting Mom, fill it with photos of you, not her.
Phone collages: Avoid supplying phone-app collages to squeeze in extra photos. Final print resolution suffers.
